Well Val, shall we compare the current fortunes of Barrow v Stanley's present situation.
1. Do Barrow have a millionaire backer? .....
No!
2. Do Barrow have bigger gates than Stanley? .....
No! (av'g 3,200)
3. Do Barrow have a bigger budget than Stanley? ....
No!
Add to that the handicap of being so remote, their current success is even more remarkable.
In many ways Barrow & Stanley's circumstances are very similar, except....
Could it be that they have a young manager who knows how to get the best out of his players & actually has an effective game plan.
