Thought it was a really enjoyable, exciting game yesterday and a draw was probably a fair result, although Stanley were on top for most of the second half, with some excellent attacking moves. Young O’Brien and Martin again outstanding, but a good all-round performance from the squad.

I wonder if Cashy’s comments re Dan Jewel refer to his post match blather on Radio Lancs which were all about ‘management’ issues and, like 99.9% of the media’s output, are designed solely to generate tomorrow’s headlines.
