I had and have nothing but respect and gratitude for Iliyas Khan so totally agree with your comment.
But, given the strength (sic)
of local support for the team, I’m not sure how you think the ground, pitch, facilities, and Academy, could have been transformed as they have over the past decade without significant investment.
You first raised the political issue, for whatever reason I can only assume.
But, as things stand, you may be happy for Coley’s and the 1968 Lounge to join other defunct community facilities in Accrington such as the former Conservative Club.
