The newsagent was run by Mr & Mrs Alan Dean 39 Ormerod Street. I was one of their paperboys.Next door at 37 was my Grandma who ran the ironmonger/hardware shop there. It had a sign on the door saying J. Fisher (Grandma's second husband). She sold paraffin, clog irons and even a few horseshoe irons.
