Chocolatiers target camels
Austrian chocolatiers have come up with a novel new type of chocolate - using camel milk.
The Vienna-based company joined forces with a camel farm in the United Arab Emirates to develop the new treat, which will go on sale next summer.
According to the head of Chocolatier Hochleitner, camel's milk is ideal for chocolate as it is lower in fat and sweeter than cow's milk, ananova reports.
"We have combined camel's milk from the farm in Al Ain with honey from Yemen and have developed a healthy and delicious new type of chocolate," Johan Georg Hochleitner said.
Mr Hochleitner and his Arabic partners are aiming their new product at wealthy customers staying in hotels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
And they are so confident of success that they are planning to invest in another 2,000 camels.
