Some time back, I purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard was fine but the mouse refused to acknowledge any signals. I put it down to a fault (it was cheap) and went back to my old mouse.

I have just bought another keyboard and mouse and despite following all the instructions implicitly, the new mouse still does not respond

I have also tried an independant mouse but it seems that anything with more than two buttons is ignored by my PC. Any ideas people?

(I am running XP Pro)
