Sorry, maybe I'm expecting too much..... I'll bet JC was just as happy as we are with the points, but maybe not so much with the quality.... I don't doubt the commitment of the guys on the field, I agree, broadly, with your percentages..... BUT... why can we not do the 'basics' right??
IE, make our free kicks count; pass to our own man; find our own from goal kicks; TRAP the ball (who was it said 'he can trap a ball further than I can kick it')??
I could go on, but the point I am trying to make, is that all these skills should be honed on the training ground, yet, week in, week out, we are being subjected to watching players, professionals, commit the same basic errors.
BTW, I will be renewing my ST before month end!!
