4 weeks ago i was ill, been to the doctor got a script but couldnt keep the medication down, i was getting worse by the hour. wife came home from work to see me in so much pain i thought i was going to die, my head was in that much pain i can only describe as brainfreeze after eating icecream, head was swelling, face drooping on one side, coul'dnt open my eyes. Wife phoned NHS Direct and before she put the phone down you could hear the ambulace on its way for me. Got to the hospital oxigen levels low, i wasn't white, i was grey i was admitted but no beds where found, but after 4 hours they got me feeling a lot better. Anyway its not that long ago and i'v seen the specialist within a few days had a CT scan the same day, waiting list 4 usually months, seen the specialist again and now booked for an opperation next week. Thanx to the NHS direct and a fantastic work done by our pressured doctors and nurses at B.R.I.
