Apparently "the Peter Kay song" as it's now known in our store was outselling everything else by miles and sold more than the rest of the Top Forty combined.I don't know exactly how many units you need to shift to get a number One these days but it's not the thousands it used to be,don't think they award platinum discs anymore,singles are such a loss leader and only really worth bothering with for extra tracks and dvd extras,like "Amarillo".
