Re: Pole dancing
My daughter, a dancer and entertainer (not lap or strip!!) is currently training to be a pole dancer. you have to be incredibly flexible and fit to do this with good upper body strength to enable you to do the flips etc. Many people think that it's a bit sleazy but I can vouch that it is not. She works in nightclubs all over the country and is never asked to do anything risque. Her outfits usually consist of custom made bikini types. It is a well paid job especially if she does an angle grinding and stiltwalking routine as well. Her full time occupation is as a sports development officer with a nearby council, but she is leavig for London at the end of March to take up a few of the many job offers that she has been offered. She started entertaining mainly whilst at Uni, to pay her way through.
