Milky drink......avoid caffeinated drinks (tea, coffee, cocoa etc)
Milky drinks contain a substance called L-tryptophan which makes you sleepy.
Avoid exercise before bed as this causes the release of Adrenalin......the fight or flight hormone.
Have a cool bedroom......no TV, no Radio.
Warm bath before bed may help.
One drop of lavender oil on your pillow may also help.
If you haven't gone to sleep 20 minutes after going to bed.......get up and do something really boring......don't go back to bed until you are really sleepy.
