What's the big deal about 'Karma'??

Is anyone really THAT bothered??

Some you agree with, others you don't.

SO WHAT!!!!

Lively discussion is what this site is all about, & all the better for it.
Why upset posters by deducting 'Karma' ??
Does 'giving' actually encourage anyone??
Does the opinion of a poster with , say, 10 points, have 10 times more value than someone with just one point??
I think not!!

(expect several deductions!!)
