Fancy a career in the Police Force? No problem, provided that you are Black, Asian or Female.

Any white males that want to enlist must get to the back of the queue and wait for up to three years unless they speak Urdu or belong to an Ethnic Minority Community Association!

Yet again, the blame does not lie with Blacks/Asians, it is beurocracy that now dictates that 7.7% of Britains 150,000 officers need to be from an ethnic minority by the year 2009 and woe betide any force that has not got the required percentage by then.

To assist, ethnic minority applicants are being "fast-tracked" through training at the expense of white applicants

I am sure we all understand the need for representatives from all minority groups in the Police Force but what has happened to natural selection?

This is yet another brainstorm that will encourage racism and anger!

So if you are 15, white and want a career in the Police Force, learn Urdu....and get a sun tan!
