Re: TRUE CONFESSIONS ,,(and nothing but the truth).......
We usually head up to our vacation home in New Hampshire to celbrate Christmas, which allows us to share the holidays with my sister and her family, as well as my in-laws.
On Christmas Eve, I was preparing supper for the gang and singing to amuse my self. I really got into singing "The Judge's Song" from Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial By Jury. When I reached the line, "She may very well pass for forty-three
In the dusk, with a light behind her!" my father-in-law started to laugh uncontrollably. While I was well aware that it was my wife's birthday (that's why I was preparing dinner), I had quite forgotten that it was her 43rd.
Took me quite some time to convince her that I had not sung that line just to annoy her!
