That is true, there are many road which are not speed limited. However many are and these speed limits are patrolled just as rigorously there in Germany, as in this country.
On the plus side many people who, unlike us in this country, do learn to drive at much higher speeds.
There are many differences; for instance you learn to drive at a Driving School, not sat next to your mother who has no control of the car if you make a mistake.
There are also driving lessons on the Morotways (Autobahns) which seems to teach people not to drive in the centre lane, or in the fast (overtaking) lane and sit there with no regard to any other road user.
The way people behave in cars reflects the attitude of people today, you would not see such rude behaviour anywhere else. Or would you?
In general Iwould say that in my opinion the standard of driving is much better over there.
