Thieving *!*%"!*& S !!!

Grrrrr!

I am fuming!!!

Today is wheelie bin day. HBC request that I do not leave my bin in the back street because it causes an obstruction for the bin wagon. They request that I leave the bin in the backyard doorway with the door/gate open and the handle facing outwards. They usually come round about this time of morning but sometimes they come a little earlier and have been known to be there when I'm in the shower so to make sure my bin isn't missed I've been putting it "out" the night before. Last night it was put in the doorway as usual. This morning it looked like they'd been early as it was back in the yard and the door closed - but on investigation it was still full!

The rubbish hadn't gone but Busman's bike had! Even though it was padlocked! Some thieving swine had availed themselves of the opportunity of an open door and pushed the bin back into the yard to come in and help themselves to whatever thy could find. My first reaction was "I hope their hands drop off" Maybe they'll slip with the hacksaw when they are trying to saw off the chain. It's quite a hefty chain.

Unfortunately someone also foolishly left the shed key in the shed door and they've helped themselves to that so we will be replacing the lock today as they shed isn't just a shed but also my utility room. Busman has also made mention of electrical connections so that when they try to put the (metal) key into the new lock they will get a bit of a shock. I realise that we'd probably get done for grievous bodily harm or something but the way I feel at the moment I'd get done for more than that if I got my hands on who ever it is!

Anyway from now on the wheelie bin goes outside in the backstreet obstruction or no obstruction. Of course that will probably get nicked next. Tough on crime Mr Blair? Don't make me laugh. I shall be reporting the theft but don't hold out any hope of the bike being recovered or the thief being caught. Even if they were they'd just get sent on an adventure holiday or something the poor little deprived so and so.

Yes folks I do believe this is yet another consequence of children not being brought up to know the difference between right and wrong and having no conscience and no respect for other people's property. They are probably also on drugs and will have either sold the bike by now or dumped it when they realise they can't get the chain off.

If anyone sees a blue bike lying around can you please check if it has a chain on and if it has it's probably Busman's
