My mum & dad were really good friends with Irene & Cyril and I remember them all coming to our house just before they left for Australia. even though I was only about 5 years old. I'm almost sure my mum keeps in touch although I think it's just Christmas cards now. My mum's name was Brenda O'Mara (it has changed now as my dad sadly passed away in 1990 and my mum re-married a few years later) but she still lives at the same address and I know she would love to see Irene again.
