That makes total sense Mani.
My parents lived close to an IRA bomber for years and didn't have a clue. He was a very respectable member of the community with a decent job and always very polite and friendly. Who was to know he was making bombs in his back kitchen and had a car boot full of semtex? It sends shivers down my spine now when I think that we were parked next to him one day when the police made their discovery. We could have been blown to smithereens.
I don't believe any law abiding decent citizen would willingly sheild these sort of people but the irony of it is that we know only too well of people who incite others to violence and yet the powers that be have their hands tied when it comes to deporting them or even denying them benefits because that would infringe upon their human rights and civil liberties. The worm has got to turn. Such nonsense has got to stop.
I'm not surprised if the BNP will have a field day over this even though I find the party totally abhorrent.
It's about time things changed.
