Thats the garden ring which is the inner ring road around moscow. It isn't a motorway and at parts has more than 20 lanes. The white blob is an olympic stadium just off prospect mira. It was built for the 1980's olympics.

I was very surprised the other day when wingy showed me the satelite images, as they previously only had america at such a zoom and uk was hardly shown at all.
