Here's one to amuse A-b

What's this? Hyndburn Council have created a special memorial garden to commemorate the ending of the Second World War? On reading this plaque you might at first be forgiven for thinking so.

but step back a little and what do we find?

It's the old useless fountain at the bottom of Ormerod Street which was eventually abandoned and filled with earth and a few choice plants. Now our illusgtrious leader would have us believe that it was all intended as a memorial garden in the first place, but we know different don't we?
