just read in the telegraph about some american guy who flew from los angeles to speak for 90 seconds in support of his companys application to set up a laser skirmish game on cranberry moor darwen.a quote from coun-smith he turned up at the meeting and asked if he could sit with the speaker supporting the plans which was fine,but he did not ASK to speak, the upshot of this is when the guy got up to speak he was refused permission cos he had not asked.coarse we all know how people from across the pond are familiar with council protocol-i think not- i wouldn't have been aware myself, talk about bureacracy gone MAD,seems like most councils are run by cretins,what do you think? 5300 miles to say nowt.
