I'm well aware of that Margaret....I'm outgrown mine. The point is though, the credit for cheap school uniforms (and tellys, and computers, and furniture, and household fittings) lies with the fact we have increasing trade with China and similar developing countries and that these places are able to competitively manufacture this stuff by paying their workforce peanuts.
Whether or not that workforce is happy with their income status is another matter; were it not for this supply, then ASDA would simply not be offering cheap products such as this and there would be a larger manufasturing industry in this country.
