we usually have a firworks display at the pub but one year an old fogey (sorry i had to) rang up the police and complained. The police rang up and told my dad to stop messing with fireworks!
It was a display that was started at 7:30pm and would have finished at approx 8 - 8:15 pm? i must admit i cannot stand fireworks and am absolutley petrified of them but it was a familiy display there were sfety measures taken and it ran smoothly until this old man rang up. what was his problem?? would he ring up the police if there were kids on the street kicking doors down and setting fireworks of then? no because hed be too scared that the children would kick down his door. its only one main night a year that my dad gets his christmas ( he absolutley loves bonfire night we call it his christmas) and somebody had to spoil it. boring person! lol
