I think the idea of obliterating everything within a 5 mile radius may well appeal to terrorists, don't you?
You could look on it as protection for the protestors too.

I'll find out after work when I take a jaunt down to see whats going on (might sneak in through the docks). It was very peaceful last time so it shouldnt be different this time. Police drive cars and it hurts there pocket too.
