As a cat owner I'd just like to say that my cat does her poops and piddles in a litter tray.

Any animal excrement in public places is nasty. Animals in the wild and in the countryside are a different matter because it decomposes in a natural environment. Pigeons in trees in the woods I have no problem with. Pigeons pooping in public places causes diseases.
