Speaking from a patient's viewpoint when I was really ill in hospital the last thing I wanted was a constant stream of visitors. I just wanted a bit of peace and quiet. That was more or less impossible because if I didn't have visitors myself there were plenty more spilling over from other beds! Did the parents try to keep their children in check? What do you think?!
