If this lady was refusing help of any kind and denying even her family access to her property where were the SS? When I worked as a community carer I had to visit a terminally ill lady who began to refuse to get washed or dressed, then by chance I found her meals were being shoved under the bed. I reported it to my manager who rang the SS and the same day she was admitted to hospital. So I know they have powers to ensure the elderly's welbeing Why weren't they brought in to this lady?
