The only thing about raising the retirement age is that there are some jobs which will be physically impossible to do reliably when you are over the age of 60. HGV and PSV driving springs to mind, slower reaction times, failing eyesight etc. Nursing and Midwifery frontline jobs, Ambulance crews, Fire personnel and Riot Police, Airline pilots, Matadors, Astronaughts.....Wow, this list could be endless....
