Re: Summer V Winter

The only season I want is summer.

It is quite recently that I have noticed the nights drawing in. When I used to work in Reigate (about 30 odd miles from where I live) I used to look forward to the long summer evenings so that I could ride home in daylight on the motorbike.

In the winter it's a different story. Have you ever tried riding home on a motorbike in the dark when its raining? Its fine until you meet a car going in the opposite direction - you can't see a thing!

The warmer weather is a good excuse for not being weighed down with several layers of clothing to try and keep warm!

I have suggested going to somewhere warm for christmas, but my wife is just not interested. I have asked her to compromise for just one year, and she may be considering it, but not yet...
