Someone makes their own fuel for their car and runs their car off that - no fuel tax paid, just the VAT or whatever on the ingredients for the fuel. Criminal?

Someone installs solar panels to cut down on the electricity used in their home. Environmentalist?

Somehow I can see the former arguing that he is merely behaving in much the same way as the latter in that he is reducing fuel consumption and the depletion of limited resources.

Life is strange isn't it?
