Re: Bird Flu - will it be headless chickens or a dead duck?
Avian flu has been around in the Far East for several years and has only killed about 80 people. When you consider the amount of people who contracted SARS in a very short space of time, it suggests that this virus is nowhere near as virulent. I don't deny that there is a possibility that it could mutate to become more virulent but as usual, the government and the media are hyping this up.... It's making me wonder if we are being deliberately distracted in order for the gov't to bury some bad news..
