Having just gone through the process of having three websites redesigned for various organisations, it can be a really annoying thing even if it's just screen sizes that the designers are working on that are different to mine.

They believe that they should design for their computer and nothing else, then seem completely confused when you tell them that it doesn't look the same on a different screen. You can see them thinking - 'everyone should just get the same sort of screen as me then'. Designers have no concept that they could possibly be the ones using the most up to date screens or technology and the rest of the world may not have caught up yet.
