I've no idea Sara. My water is fine at the town centre end of Whalley Rd. If UU have to turn off your water, they have to give you warning. If they haven't warned you then you are entitled to a rebate. They switched ours off for a couple of hours 2 years ago to do some work. We had no warning, so all of my neighbours phoned them and we got about £10 per household back....
