I'm suprisingly 40. Well it's a suprise to me any way!
Born in Whalley, brought up in Oswaldtwistle. Attended Moor End Primary school, where for the last two years I had a wonderful teacher Chris Ryan, who reaLly inspired my artistic ambitions. Went to Queen EliZabeth's Grammar school in Blackburn, which wasn't very artistic, but they did knock a bit of discilpine in me.
After doing art foundation at Blackburn College I did a degree in Fashion and Textiles in Liverpool.
God this is boring, it's like a c.v.
After a year working as a freelance deisgner/ illustrator, I made the big move to London. Ended up working as the creative director for a Jermyn Street shirtmaker. The company, Harvie and Hudson, was fantastic to work for, and I loved every minute of my time there.
On a whim, after seventeen years in London, I moved to Glasgow, before moving back home to Lancashire in January last year.
Two months after returning to my roots I was diagnosed as having young onset Parkinson's disease, which totally blew me away when I was told at thirty nine I would never be able to work again.
A year later, my life is getting back on track. I have a great loving family, and moving back home was the best thing I ever did. I've made some great friends as well, all thanks to the magic of Accy Web.
That's me.
