I have to say I agree with cashman. I admire the bloke for standing by his principles but hey this is the 21st century. I race radio controlled cars which is a male dominated sport & some men do they're utmost to stop me beating them, even when they are a lap down which I find sad. When I race at nationals against men who don't know me & who try to upset me with chauvenistic comments pre-race, they are surprised when I don't retaliate verbally but make sure they know I have been in their race.

I have earned the respect of those who race me & I dont expect any special treatment because I'm female. I except I am one of 'the boys' when I'm racing but off track I'm me
