May I politely request that retired persons and mothers with prams please at least try to decline from shopping at lunchtime. Found myself falling over prams and slow moving trolleys whilst I was running around like a headless chicken trying to pick up a few necessary items in Marks. Long queue's at checkouts with people chatting who seem to have all the time in the world.
Before I get any backlash on this, I DO understand not always possible and have been guilty of this myself in the past; between feeds with babies and all that, etc., but, at least, did try and spot a lunchtime worker and let them go before me.
