It might be legal but, if I was considering shopping elsewhere this would certainly encourage me, even if they charged for either the equipment or upped the rental a little each month, existing customer wanting wireless would be more inclined to stay rather than as it is being snubbed by a 'we already have you and don't care attitude'
I think it was
Jerremy Clarkeson that did an advert for BT (phones), claiming that they look after existing customers, doesn't apply to broadband though does it?
