I am a big fan of The Clash and Joe Strummer and believe he was one of the few people who knew the true essence of punk.(RIP Joe

However I fail to see how he could have influenced anyone on the list apart from maybe Noel Gallagher - as they all started their careers way before Joe Strummer's time.
