Knowing that the gate against Ramsbottom will be next to nowt, what's the chances of a ridiculously low admission price.
Firstly this would reward the regulars by giving em a game for next to nowt and helping out our pockets
secondly big chance to attract the new crowd or floaters in a game that
we should win handsomely.
The players will not enjoy playing in front of a sparse crowd on a cold night, and Ramsbottom won't enjoy playing at a bigger than usual empty ground.
I would think that £2 and £1 concession would attract em. £2 a throw to try and get 1000 would generate £2000 whereas £12 each for an estimated 250 (tops) would bring in £3000. But we would get better publicity in both the local papers and we do need the newbies. Also 1000 people would spend more money on the ground than 250 people would (a pint and a pie each would take care of the shortfall on the gate.
And an atmosphere at a ridiculously early stage of the local cup
Come on Eric, be brave
And don't do half measures and say £6 please
Are you going and if not what price would attract you?
two adults and two kids for £6, bring the wife and mini-youse
