As an Atheist I can't understand why people would want to call Christmas, Xmas, I also hate the word? Chrimbo

it means nothing and demeans the festival. You don't get Hindus calling Diwali, Divvy now do you? or muslims calling Eid, Edie baby so why not give the festival some respect?
If you are celebrating the festival then call it what it is, not a shorthand version cause you can't be bothered.
(Yes I will be giving presents and going to my parents tomorrow, but as the children would rip me to shreds otherwise it's called compromising
