Whilst there was sone noise coming from the away end, the prob was that it wasn't loud enough to hear what you were actually chanting. I heard a 'Can you hear Halifax sing' in the first half which kind of tailed off and that was it until you sang 'You're not singing anymore' after your equaliser. I could use the same argument; by singing that song you were obviously acknowledging that we were singing, at least in the second half anyway.
Your crowd was not as good as it was last season. You were more colourful and made more noise last year than you did on Monday. And you weren't top of the league last season.
I believe there were between 400-500 Stanley fans there on Monday. In contrast, if we beat Scaroborugh, and after such a good game on monday, I would expect a Yorkshire invasion with 750-1000 Town fans making the journey next week (so there'll be nearly as many of us as home fans). We will provide the atmosphere, so don't go troubling yourselves as I know it is not the norm for the home fans to make any noise at the IES.
