I have done that before and one time i was literally falling asleep waiting for tham to answer the phone.
I hate BG so much i had nothing but trouble with them for the 5 years i was with them! after 1-2 years i had never received a bill or statement from them so i rang them didnt want them to turn around and send me a huge bill so like i said i rang them and after waiting to get through they said ho right we will send one out.
Over a month went buy and nothing i rang back oh sorry theres nothing on the computer i will send one out.
Nothing again and this went on for months until i snapped at them and then they said we cant send you a statement because when WE changed your meter we didnt take the relevant readings and it shows that you are £1500 in credit, by this time i was trying to change companys but because all this was in the air i could not do anything i told the woman just send me the credit and we will call it quits!! (yeah right) i must have made around 50 phone calls to them and thats without exaggerating oh sorry the other person didnt do what they said they were going to do and blah blah blag blag, i need to speak to the manager anyway i finally managed to get it sorted they sent me a cheque for £29 that i had over paid them even though i cant figure out how they can work it out how much they owe me if they dont have the origanal meter reading by my working out over 5 years im sure they should have owed me more ive not been with the new company for long and they already owe me money.
Then they had the cheek to come knocking at my door a while ago asking me to go back i laughed in his face!!
Steer well clear of British Gas!!!!
