A wooden door is 45mm thick and your screws hold for their full length. If the door is made of hardwood and a good lock with the correct screws... bingo the crook will bounce back..........
And plastic doors have a lot of other weaknesses that wood does not..
Plastic are easy and trendy but strong NEVER................(well £1200 on an Angian door is quite good)  But still not a patch on a good lump of wood.. |
