big al - you may have received information from the horse's mouth, but you are only getting the horse's version. My views are informed opinions, perhaps representing the other side of things? Rory was a good player for us, but towards the end it was clear that he had to leave. He was no longer a team player and he was having a negative affect on the squad and the leadership.
The time he spent playing for us is the longest he's spent at any club, which perhaps says something in itself?

I never questioned the player's right to pursue his career and I assumed that I had made this clear in my first post. I would similarly never ridicule a person for reaching for the stars and falling short.

I hope he goes on to have a successful career, but I just could never see him playing for us again and, personally, nor would I want to.
