Re: Halifax v Morecambe - Who R Ya Snodin

my opinion on Rory when he left was good luck Rory you were a class act when you wanted to be. Onwards and upwards etc. Rory was a diving cheating ****** but he was our diving cheating ******. The fact remained that until he played against us I still held the guy in high regard as our former diving cheating ******. When he took a dive and got Edwards (I think) booked and was holding his face and winking at the Stanley fans I took umbrage, when he then proceeded to act like a twit (wrong vowel) when celebrating their goal, I took further umbrage, when he then sauntered between Gary and Ian on his way back and quite obviously said something derogatory to them I took final umbrage.

The man was a gifted individual who was prone to mood swings and probably tantrums. He was instrumental in the demise of Lutel James who gave us much more than Rory. We loved him, Blackpool fans don't, Halifax fans don't, very few Conference level fans do. He has made a rod for his own back and will probably drift down a level or two until he finds that level where his sulking can be tolerated in exchange for his silky skills.

As far as all and sundry can read these boards and what kind of message does it send out? as far as would any ex-players come back to us? as far as what do the present players feel about comments like these, I say Rhubarb. We welcome most if not all players back to us and always have the crack. Spearo got a hero's welcome from the subs bench but he was a professional and a gent. Rory will never be described as a gent.

I appreciate that a professional player can never clap the former fans when wearing new colours, but goading them is stupid. The man could have come to the away end after the Shay match and clapped us then and we could and would have clapped him back and all would have been swept under the carpet as banter aimed at putting him off his game.

Looking at his waist line could one assume that he has eaten a fair amount of Humble Pie this year. Let Rory be the lesson for our current crop of talented stars. The grass is infrequently greener on the other side. Why move up a level when you can take us up with you. Rory had touted himself as available to all and sundry and I don't believe that Coley wanted him out or else he would have talked him into going to Bristol or Exeter when they wanted him.
