Spent a large part of my youth in the Dahlia in the 60's. A classic coffee bar with a fantastic jukebox. There were toilets in Dutton Street but these were long gone by the time the Dahlia was in its prime. If they'd still been around, there would have been no room for anyone to park their scooters! The premises are now the Blue Lagoon amusement arcade. Sacrilege!
The Olympus was in Union Street, opposite the side entrance of Woolworths and was still there up to quite recently. It was always more of a rocker hang-out.
