It's only been colder than normal a couple of times to me, but then, i don't seem to feel the cold much these days, think I've wore a jacket out three times so far this winter. when i was a kid, I used to be frozen, my hands would turn blue, I used to deliver 900 papers a week and by the time I'd finished, i couldn't feel my fingers or toes.
