Unfortunately, I can't think of anybody specific in my life that I could vote for in these categories .. must get out more !! Have good neighbours, sure lots of charity workers, entrepeneurs (must be a local Alan Sugar somewhere), people who were given the opportunity to show how brave they were, children of courage, etc., that deserve this recognition, but can't think of anyone specific. Who is Eric Whally or Dorothy McGregor anyway ? Now I've just read about Emma's son, would vote for him.
The one good thing I like about this is that it deviates from the worship of pop stars/actors and footballers who are considered heroes these days; makes me angry
They are not heroes at all in my book !!
