Re: Driving at 101, Safe or not?
A company that I used to work for about 15 years ago employed a sales rep who was 72 at the time. He used to drive around his territory - Birmingham area - in second gear all the time. He never once went into third. He had never passed a driving test in his life because he started driving whilst in the army and it wasn't necessary. He could never understand why his gearbox needed replacing every six months.
He clearly wasn't a competant driver in some respects because he didn't have clue about how to drive a car, yet he never had an accident.
I'm not sure what my point is but I think there might be one in there somewhere.
