News Release From Northwestbands
Where have all the bands gone?
NorthWestBands has launched its new website which features a wealth of information on regional bands, venues and gigs. The site lists over 470 registered bands and over 60 northwest venues including profiles and Mp3’s of bands. An incredible 800 unique visitors view the site every day/
As a hobby the listing website took Accrington guitarist Paul Wright 6 months to design in an attempt to help raise the profile of the unsigned music scene. This bold freshly designed site provides expanded information on what is happening in the local unsigned music scene in an easily accessible format.
Instead of travelling long distances to regional music venues people can find out what live music is happening in their local pubs and towns. One of the new main features of the site is that bands are able to update their own profile with photos, gigs, interviews and even Mp3’s enabling people to find information about the bands before they see them perform.
Paul Wright commented ‘I designed the site as I have a passion for music, especially the unsigned acts who get next to no publicity. I designed a platform for the bands to list their gigs on and a place where people can find out what bands are playing in their local area.’
The new site has been received very warmly with northwestbands listings currently being featured in Strummer Magazine a favourite of legend Clint Boon.
To visit the site please visit http://www.northwestbands.co.uk.
Notes: www.northwestbands.co.uk is free resource for bands and venues to list their gigs. The site is run as designer Paul Wright has a passion for unsigned music. No profits are made from the site.
